On October 25, 2009, Capmark Financial Group Inc. and certain of our subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. We intend to use the reorganization process to implement a restructuring that reduces our corporate debt and maximizes value for our stakeholders.
Capmark's businesses will continue to operate in the ordinary course during the Chapter 11 proceedings, and we will continue to serve the needs of our customers throughout the reorganization process.
